  • Sixers' scoring DISAPPEARS in third again, suffer first loss to Knicks
    Jan 25 2026

The Philadelphia 76ers drop their first of the season to the New York Knicks following a 112-109 final. The Sixers led 64-60 at the half behind Joel Embiid's 28-point first half, but Jalen Brunson and the Knicks held the 76ers to just 13 points in the third and opened a 90-77 advantage by the end of the frame. New York did just enough in the fourth to hold off Tyrese Maxey and Co. to secure the first win of the year over their division rival. Embiid finished with a game-high 38, while Brunson paced the visitors with 31. The PHLY Sixers podcast reacts to the entertaining game.

  • Tyrese Maxey's ICE COLD night, Sixers poor defense leads to loss to Suns
    Jan 21 2026

Tyrese Maxey's poor shooting night and the team's frustrating defense resulted in the Philadelphia 76ers' 116-110 loss to the Phoenix Suns as they let one slip away. Maxey just didn't have it as he shot 7-25 from the floor for 17 points in a winnable game on the second night of a back-to-back. VJ Edgecombe (25) and Kelly Oubre Jr. (21) did their best by picking up the scoring slack, but it wasn't enough against the hot-shooting Suns. Devin Booker poured in 27 to lead all scorers. The PHLY Sixers podcast reacts to the disappointing defeat.
