  • Phillies Have An Aaron Nola Problem
    Jun 30 2026

The Philadelphia Phillies are at a crossroads as analytics-driven roster decisions clash with old-school baseball philosophy in 2026. In this video, we break down Aaron Nola's ongoing struggles on the mound, what the underlying numbers reveal about his pitch mix and command issues, and whether the Phillies' analytics department or traditional pitching coaches hold the key to turning things around. We also dive into Brandon Marsh's red-hot stretch at the plate, examining the swing changes and approach adjustments fueling his surge, and what it means for the Phillies' outfield mix going forward. Plus, we tackle the bigger debate dividing the fanbase and front office: analytics vs. old school baseball — exit velocity, launch angle, and exposure-based metrics versus gut instinct, scouting, and "the eye test." Where do the Phillies fall on that spectrum, and is it working? If you're a Phillies fan who wants honest analysis on Aaron Nola's slump, Brandon Marsh's breakout, and the future of Philadelphia baseball, this is the video for you.

  • Phillies Pull Off Historic 9th Inning Magic And Now Face Mets
    Jun 26 2026

🔴 PHILLIES WEEKLY: HISTORIC 9TH INNING COMEBACKS, ALL-STAR VOTING UPDATE, METS SERIES PREVIEW & MINOR LEAGUE REPORT | June 26, 2026 The Philadelphia Phillies just made BASEBALL HISTORY — and we're breaking it ALL down! 🔔 Subscribe and hit the bell so you never miss a Phillies update! The Phillies did something NO team in MLB history has ever done — hitting go-ahead home runs in the 9th inning of three consecutive games, sweeping Washington in dramatic fashion. On Tuesday, down to their final out with two outs in the 9th, Trea Turner sparked an 8-run, 8-hit explosion — the first time in franchise history the Phillies scored 8+ runs with two outs in the 9th inning, leading to a stunning 14–9 victory. Wednesday saw Derek Hill deliver a pinch-hit two-run homer to flip the script again. Then on Thursday, Bryce Harper silenced the Nationals crowd with a go-ahead blast as part of a five-run 9th inning in a 10–5 win. The Phillies scored 15 ninth-inning runs across those three wins. "We just have that never-quit mentality." — Brandon Marsh The Phillies advanced to Phase 2 of All-Star voting: Brandon Marsh, Bryson Stott, and Alec Bohm. Marsh ranked second among all NL outfielders in Phase 1 voting, batting .321 with 11 home runs and an .860 OPS. Kyle Schwarber — the MLB home run leader with 29 bombs — was edged out for the DH spot by Shohei Ohtani, who led all NL players with over 3.3 million votes. Bryce Harper also fell short of Phase 2, finishing third at first base. Both Schwarber and Harper remain in contention as reserve selections. Phase 2 voting opens Monday, June 29 and closes July 2 — vote daily at MLB.com!
