Our first year shows the process of fine-tuning our purpose of community engagement through the exploration of immigrant issues like machismo, stories of frontier crossing, dealing with pity, and what it means to be an immigrant child. These experiences provide a glimpse of current cultural and social ideas impacting Latinos in our community.
