Everyone makes mistakes. No matter how perfect you try to be, hiccups on the roads of life are bound to happen. However, there is a point to where mistakes, short comings, falls, or sins are repeated to the point of utter stupidity! Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. What about being a fool on a daily basis? What about living as a fool in foolishness and tom foolery all while supposedly claiming Jesus? Are their Christians this foolish today? It's one thing for a song called "Dumb and Dumber" to exist. It's another thing to dance to it.

Crossroads. Everyone has been there. Upon arrival you realize there are choices to make and every choice takes you somewhere good, bad, ugly and in between. This is a running theme in the entire Bible starting with Genesis 3. What choices are there whenever we are confronted with God's word? Is there a choice not to choose? Is there a neutral position? A comforting answer to a unanimous question is, does God know and understand why we do what He says or not? God certainly does understand why and He is the only One who understands why, even more than we do.

It's one thing to make a mistake. It's another thing to disobey. And then there is being rebellious! This is like people who are arrested and rearrested over and over again. On the outside some might be thinking "will they every learn?" In reality, some never will. Unfortunately, this was the exact climate the children of Israel lived in. No matter how good God was to them, no matter how much He demonstrated His power, no matter how many times He delivered them, they still did not listen to Him. And guess what folks? These kinds of people are all around us, including a good amount of those who attend church. What takes place inside of a person to make them respond to God this way?
