  • Faith That Saves
    May 16 2024

Did you know that we must believe in order to be saved? Belief is crucial for salvation according to Hebrews 11:6, stating that without faith, it's impossible to please Him. To approach God, one must believe in His existence, promise, and teachings. Faith involves belief in God, Christ, the Holy Spirit, and the Bible. Genuine faith is active, requiring obedience to Jesus' teachings as emphasized in James 2:24 and 2:26. Does your faith move you to submit to the will of Christ?

A throwback to TBC Founder Malcolm Hill's former radio program "One Gospel Minute," which was broadcast on WHUB radio station and served as the inspiration for this podcast.

  • Not the Same Without Mom
    May 9 2024

The world is incomplete without the nurturing touch of a mother. According to Genesis 2, it was God who introduced woman to complement man. He bestowed upon her the divine duty of shaping the future generation. The household, the society, even the church, all feel the ripple effects of her influence. When mothers falter in their divine responsibility, it mirrors in the chaos of society. Remember, it was through a woman that Jesus graced the world. This is the Gospel of love and hope.

  • Vanity
    May 7 2024

Vanity serves no purpose. Arrogance, conceit, and pride are human characteristics. Pursuing wealth and worldly recognition is empty (Ecclesiastes 2). Being steadfast and abounding in the work of the Lord, as stated in I Corinthians 15:58, is seen as humble service to God, contrasting with vanity. What's life all about? "Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man" (Ecclesiastes 12:13).

  • The Lord’s Church
    Apr 25 2024

When He promised to build His church, what name do you think should be on it? Some argue that a name holds no significance. According to Jesus, "Upon this rock, I will build my church," Matthew 16:18. Whose church? The scripture says it was the Lord’s church. On Pentecost, baptized believers were added to the church by the Lord (Acts 2:47). He established His church, and you have the opportunity to be part of it. That’s the Gospel.

  • One Minute Sermon
    Apr 23 2024

What is truth? According to Jesus, truth is God's Word, which He prayed would guide and sanctify His disciples. The standard should always be truth. It transcends personal opinions, preferences, family traditions, and cultural norms. In the words of the Apostle Paul, "Let God be true and every man a liar," Romans 3:4.
