Welcome to Melchizedek's Tabernacle of Victory. Listen as Derick discusses biblical issues in a way that brings Wisdom and Truth directly from God's Word, directly to you!
This week's show is called "On His Shoulders." Tune in and hear Derick as he continues to bring clarity to the Word of God.
In this episode on Luke 15:1–7 and the parable of the lost sheep, the speaker explains Jesus’ welcome to publicans and sinners, as well as the Pharisees' and scribes' criticism. The message presents Jesus as the Good Shepherd who seeks the one lost sheep, with David’s care for his father’s flock used as a parallel for protection and sacrifice.
The lecture also discusses the roles of various biblical groups and uses the imagery of lions, bears, trees, and heartwood to describe false doctrine, spiritual hardness, and inward spiritual life. It concludes by urging believers to avoid ungodly counsel, meditate on God’s word, and show compassion by seeking and carrying the lost.
