We kicked off the Tuesday episode of ONR with a delicious debate about Connor McDavid's TOI, and whether he's still playing too many minutes despite the plan being to change that. With all of the injuries in the lineup right now, it makes sense that McDavid is playing more minutes than you'd probably want. That said, it is also reasonable to assume that this total will drop once the likes of Nugent-Hopkins, Hyman, and Savoie are able to play.

Shifting gears, the guys turned the podcast to how the Oilers are playing defensively these days, and how it's strange to watch them pay so much attention to the defensive details. While the non-pond hockey style they're playing might be a little boring to watch, what's most interesting is how they keep finding ways to win. As much as you'd still want a bit more offence at times, there are countless items to appreciate about the way our boys are executing.

Finally, we wrapped up the Tuesday episode of ONR with another round of betting talk before wrapping up the podcast with a round of Tenable and score predictions ahead of Tuesday's matchup with the Kings. Had it not been for Levi's brilliance early on, the Oilers might have been down by four+ goals. Thankfully, Levi was dialled in and gave his team the foundation they needed to come roaring back and win that hockey game. From there, the guys discussed how the big boys are firing on all cylinders already, and whether it's a problem or not that the depth players still aren't scoring consistently.

Finally, we wrapped up the Friday episode of ONR with another round of betting talk, Hot and Cold Performers, and Ask the Idiots questions from the audience before wrapping up the show with some always inspiring words of hope from producer Reece.
