Off The Rail Host Justin Rollins chatted with Charles Wyatt, a former VP of Limestone University, about the final days of the Gaffney university and how its end was like a death in the family.

In its final days, Wyatt was VP for communications and marketing for the school and had two or three emails prepared: Limestone staying open, Limestone closing or Limestone going online.

He pushed the button informing the public that Limestone was closing.

Both Rollins and Wyatt are Gaffney natives and Limestone graduates. They both have special memories of the university.

"We had always been that little engine that could," Wyatt said.

They both also have a special connection to Limestone mascot Bernie too. Both of Charles' daughters have played Bernie and love the idea that Bernie has a new home at Hub City Gym.

Did you also know there is a real live Saint Bernard Bernie? Can you guess what he liked in form of payment for special appearances?

They also discuss Limestone going online and Limestone starting a football team.

What were Wyatt's first thoughts when he heard Justin had adopted Bernie for Hub City Gym?

How did Justin hear the news that he got Bernie?
