Adam or better known as“Astrangerdanger”, started Warmachine after a friend handed him a huge Menthe force and sealed the deal by showing him how to turn models into a rack. Now he’s back in the game, building community in Oklahoma and testing his way into Colorado’s meta. Adam joins Chris and I to break down Menoth’s new options, including Thyra’s defense-boosting feat and assassination tricks, the hard-hitting Blood of Martyrs, and Malekus paired with the arc-node-like Eye of Truth. Along the way: tournament-team plans, hobby stories, and why Adam came to trust NJT’s community-building wasn’t just a slogan.

A Behemoth tried to stop a moving train and got run over. Warmachine and SFG Lore Master Sherwin Mathews shares the story behind Lock & Load EU's sprawling 20-foot narrative battle, where players can switch tracks, race through tunnels, and even ride the train into the fight, spoilers ahead FYI. Angus, Chris, and I also get into why Dozer is purple (the answer is super simple), how living narrative events can change the fate of characters like Admiral Boomhowler, and how story and rules shape new armies and returning favorites. Along the way: the Dread Armada’s grim bargain with the Orgoth, the future of the Trollbloods, and Sherwin’s own love of the Thornfall Alliance.

Menoth’s new flame-themed army may be more frightening than I first thought. One caster can set enemies ablaze, turn that fire into boosted attacks or damage rolls, then teleport out after an assassination attempt. Chris and I break down Fiora and the starter box’s fire-slinging Crusader, Valeria, Pyrrhus, and Flame Guard Defenders. Ever wonder whether these forces were really designed to fight each other? We also build Chris’s Lock & Load troll list live, hear about my 14–16-hour Abyssal King paint job, and tease a first-of-its-kind episode to come... next epsiode.
