Continuing the series on the judgments still to come, Pastor Scott Thom teaches on the judgment of the believer, the Bema Seat, and the four crowns Scripture promises for faithful service: the crown of rejoicing, the crown of righteousness, the crown of life, and the crown of glory. A listener named Steve asks the question so many are wondering right now: with wars, unrest, and disasters in the headlines, why aren't more pastors teaching on the end times? And in one of the most personal calls this show has taken, a caller named Linda, a police officer for ten years who lost her son to suicide, asks Pastor Scott directly: who actually goes to hell? Is it only about accepting Christ, or does mental illness and addiction change the answer? Pastor Scott walks through accountability, God's mercy, and what Scripture does and doesn't say about suicide.

Pastor Scott Thom kicks off a new teaching series on the five judgments yet to come - the judgment of the believer, the nations, Israel, the unsaved, and the fallen angels - starting this week with a deep dive into the judgment of the believer. He walks through why a Christian is never judged for sin (it was already judged at the cross), what self-judgment and sanctification actually look like, and what the Bema Seat judgment of rewards is really about. A caller named Naomi asks the question so many believers wrestle with: can we forfeit rewards or inheritance through sin, or does backsliding put our salvation itself in question? Pastor Scott also answers a listener's question about whether "Hard Sayings of the Bible" and the "When Skeptics/Critics/Cultists Ask" series are solid apologetics resources to hand a friend - and closes the show with a clear, simple picture of the gospel and an invitation to know Christ.

On this episode of No Other Doctrine, Pastor Scott Thom takes on the doctrine of transubstantiation — the claim that communion elements actually become the literal body and blood of Christ — and walks through five biblical reasons the Bible points to remembrance, not repetition. A caller asks whether unconfessed sin can keep a believer out of heaven, and Pastor Scott unpacks the difference between confession and salvation by grace through faith. A listener email raises a curious question from Leviticus 12 about purification after childbirth, and a mom calls in wrestling with whether to leave her church so her teenagers can find Christian friendships. Practical, biblical answers for real questions people are actually asking.
