New Jack City (1991) The highest grossing indie of ’91. We look at how the real-life Chambers Brothers and the "Broadmoor" apartment inspired the CMB empire, Wesley Snipes’ transition from a Michael Jackson music video to Nino Brown, and why the Nation of Islam security guards wouldn’t let Judd Nelson on set.
