From June to September 2024, I lived and worked at the Darwin Ranch, the most remote guest ranch in the lower 48 states. It was the best summer of my life. Seeking to reflect upon my time there, I spoke to Kathy Bole and Oliver Klingenstein, a mother-son pair and the current owners of the ranch about this special place that has welcomed guests every summer for 101 years.
