Welcome back to My Seminary Life. Today, now that we are thoroughly in spooky season, I sit down to discuss the Christianity Today podcast series Devil and the Deep Blue Sea. In this series and this episode, I recap the Satanic Panic, how it created a fear of your neighbor, and how it weaponized discernment. It's a look at conspiracy mindset, power being valued more than accountability, and the importance of loving our neighbors vs villainizing them.

Welcome back to My Seminary Life. In today's episode, I bring back OneMoreThing! This was a monthly bonus episode that came out back during the Masters era of the show. I brough it back in part to help recon the number of the show episodes, but also so that way I could once again discuss the categories I would group Christian Nationalism into. After listening to shows like Extremely American and Bundyville, my thoughts on Christian Nationalism have shifted again.

Welcome back to My Seminary Life. In today's episode, I sit down to give my current views on AI. A while back, I discussed the positive uses for AI and why we should be open minded towards its intergration into ministry. I am here today, three years later, to recant all of that. Ethically, I cannot support the use of Generative AI and in this episode I explain why.

Welcome back to My Seminary Life. Today, I take a look at psychic healer and medium John of God. Inspried by my recent watch of John of God on Netflix, I briefly summarize his work doing both visible and invisible healing and the accusations of sexual abuse from hundreds of women that ultimately resulted in him currently serving mutiple life sentences. This also leads me to dive into the question, "how can someone get caught up in a cult?" seeing how even I was worked by something he was able to do to "heal" people.

Welcome back to My Seminary Life. In this episode, we go on our final stop to Bundyville where I address the Biblical Basis for War. Not to be confused with Just War Theory, The Biblical Basis for War was a leaked document by former Washington Republican Rep Matt Shea on how to conduct warfare biblically once America fell into disarray. It's unsettling and I almost have to cut the episode off short because of how heavy the topic gets.

Welcome back to My Seminary Life. In today's episode, we continue our trip to Bundyville with a look at season two, The Remnant. In this review, I cover the topic of Christian Identity; a "theological" movement rooted in racism. Here I explain some of the justifications for a race driven Christianity that ultimately amounts to glorifying a non-Jewish Jesus through being White.
