“We can never get to the life that we want by not liking the life that we currently have.” For so long, I showed up in my life as a fighter. I was always ready for battle - and fighting life as it unfolded. I was manifesting life through a need to control the circumstances. It felt like a constant struggle, and eventually it became too exhausting. I had to shift how I related to life itself. I shifted away from one who was constantly fighting the experience of life to one who allowed life to lead her. It has made all the difference. My life is now a blank canvas. One that I co-create with the universe. I no longer prepare myself for potential setbacks for challenges that life might throw my way. I know my strength, I can face those moments as they come, but preparing for them only meant that I was dragging the past with me to color the future.
