On this episode of the Beyond Sunday podcast, Pastor Robby and Pastor James begin a two-week series on Muslim outreach and explain the goal of helping believers share their faith with people of another religion. They outline the basic beliefs of Islam, including Muhammad, the Quran, the Hadith, the five pillars, and the Islamic view of Jesus, while also comparing Islam’s understanding of scripture and salvation with Christianity.
They then discuss why Christians should share the gospel with Muslims, pointing to Jesus as the only way to the Father and emphasizing the call to reach all nations. The episode also references the stories of Jonah and Saul’s conversion as examples of God calling his people to speak to those they may view as enemies.
