On this episode, I had the opportunity to sit down and discussed the multifamily preconstruction process with Tim Marsh. Tim Marsh is the Director of Preconstruction at Mill Creek for the Charlotte office. Mill Creek is a national multifamily Owner/Developer/Builder with 41,000 units under management.
On this show, we discussed the importance of having a strong preconstruction process including getting the General Contractor early on the design process. We also discussed the GMP and what is included in this document from allowances, value engineering, contingency, and construction schedule.
