Father's Day seems like the perfect time to revisit a movie that turned one dad's world completely upside down. This week on Reel Sisters Rewind, sisters Amanda Stephens and Missy Washam rewind the 1983 comedy classic Mr. Mom.

In this episode, they revisit the story of Jack Butler, a recently laid-off dad who suddenly finds himself trading business meetings for grocery runs, school drop-offs, and the daily chaos of raising three kids. Meanwhile, his wife Caroline heads back into the workforce, creating a hilarious and heartfelt look at family, marriage, and changing roles.

Amanda and Missy break down their favorite moments, share behind-the-scenes trivia, and discuss why this Michael Keaton classic continues to connect with audiences more than forty years later. From memorable one-liners to relatable parenting moments, Mr. Mom remains one of the most beloved family comedies of the decade.

Whether you're celebrating Father's Day, remembering the dads who shaped your life, or simply revisiting a favorite 80s movie, this episode is a fun rewind into a film that reminds us there is no tougher job than being a parent.
