A proposito di questo titolo

Movies Over My Hammy is a comedy podcast that dares to ask the hard questions: Is the Batman Calzony better than The Batman? Would you like to sit down in a theater and watch Beetlejuice Beetlejuice or would you rather take a seat at a diner and order the Beetlejuicy Burger?

Each week Adam Quesnell and Andrew Santoro will answer the eternal marketing question, “Is the movie tie-in menu superior to the movie that it’s tied to?” And, in lieu of a tie in menu, how does this movie stack up to the Moons Over My Hammy sandwich from Denny’s?

  • Episode 7: Moons Over My Hammy x One Battle After Another
    Jan 19 2026

We finally did it! We ate the name of the podcast sandwich and we compared it to that new PT Anderson movie! Is the acting in the film hammier than the ham in the moon sandwich? Will we prefer the crisp shots of cars blasting through the desert or the crisp toasts of the sandwich? All these answers and more can be yours for the humble price of a download.

But you may find yourself asking, “Why is my beloved Movies Over My Hammy artwork missing this week?” Well dear listener, listening to the podcast explains the podcast. Buuuuut if you just don’t have the time or you choose to only intake this podcast via episode description (I’m sorry) Denny’s made a shoe with syrup inside of it and we, in our infinite wisdom, figured that you would like to see this sweet colab. Also we ran out of time for a game so we chose to make a menu called One Burger After Another and leave the rest to you.

  • Franken-Candy Sundae x Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein
    Jan 12 2026

So I’ve been playing a lot of the video game Death Stranding lately and in that game there’s a guy named Deadman who’s made of approximately 70% dead guy parts. Well you’ll never believe it, that Deadman guy directed a movie! A few of them in fact. And one of those movies happens to be about a guy who’s made of approximately 100% dead guy parts.

This week Adam and Andrew are heading back into the Burger King Monster Menu to dig up the Franken-Candy Sundae and compare it to Guillermo del Toro’s latest release, Frankenstein. Will we be saying "IT’S ALIVE…and a good movie.” or will we be saying “IT’S DELICIOUS…and a good food.” Also Andrew pitches Adam a few new food concepts that a certain plumber may enjoy in the first edition of Foodventions.

  • Episode 5: 2026 Year in Preview!
    Jan 5 2026

New year, new podcast! It's our annual Year in P-Review episode! You may be saying, "how can it be annual when you’ve never done one before?” Well, how does anything annual become an annual thing? That’s right dumb dumb, you do the first one! In this episode Adam and Andrew break out their bingo cards and take a look at the upcoming movies of 2026 to try and guess which ones will have movie tie in menus.

Will the upcoming film Primate have an all monkey meat menu at Jack in the Box? Will the new Pixar movie Hoppers have a frog legs appetizer at Burger King? Will we be heading to the grocery store to buy some kind of scary sausage as part of the Return to Silent Hill-Shire Farms menu? These questions and more will be maybe addressed in this episode! Also Andrew tries to stump Adam in another trivia gauntlet entitled… Year in Review.
