A lot of times parents with more than one child will have them compete, without having the intention to do so. In this episode we speak about our personal experiences of growing up with siblings. Growing with siblings is challenging for parents and the children. We are happy to say, after years and years of our parents making us compete, our relationship with our siblings has prospered. It's all about breaking the cycle.

When children are born a blessing is created. Sometimes as parents we get lost in the act of caring for this little person(s) we forget about us. Self care, no matter how big or small, is critical for parenting. Self care can be anything from a kid-free trip to putting a kid to bed and dancing in your underwear kareokee style in your living room.

One of the scariest part about becoming a parent, is the "what happens when I/we go home". It's learning how to do everything without nurses guiding the way, the unexpected events that come after and the journey of post-pardum.
