Alethia Alvarez is a passionate force in Modesto’s vibrant dance community and a key figure behind the Modesto Latin Music & Dance Festival. As a dedicated instructor and event organizer, she’s made it her mission to bring people together through movement, rhythm, and connection.
Partnering with Silhouette’s Dance Studio, Alethia helped launch the Modesto Latin Music & Dance Festival—coming to Graceada Park on October 11, 2025. She’s known for her free salsa and bachata demo lessons downtown and at local festivals, along with her weekly bachata classes and social dances at Urbano California Bistro, where the community gathers to dance, laugh, and grow.
Through her energy and love for Latin dance, Alethia is not just teaching steps—she’s building community, confidence, and joy one beat at a time.
