A proposito di questo titolo
Why do we say "We will do" (Na'aseh) before "We will hear" (Nishma)?
In this illuminating shiur, Rav Shlomo Katz shares a powerful parable about a father and son walking through a dark forest. The father tells the son to grab whatever "treasures" he can find on the path, promising to explain their value only once they reach the light of home.
This, Rav Shlomo explains, is the secret of Crown Knowledge (Keter). Drawing on the Rebbe Rashab (The 5th Lubavitcher Rebbe), we learn that Na'aseh is the trust to collect the Mitzvos now in the darkness of this world, while Nishma is the prayer to understand their infinite depth later.
This episode teaches us that true connection to Hashem isn't about knowing all the answers upfront, but about trusting the Father enough to fill our pockets with treasures we can't yet see.
