  • Watch: A Letter to My Fear, Grief and Hidden Parts
    Nov 4 2026

In this episode of the podcast, Miranda reads her deeply personal 2026 Substack writing piece titled "Watch" for the very first time.

Written on January 1, 2026, and originally published on Substack (@itsmirandalee), this raw text serves as a snapshot of a woman moving through fear and learning to lean into the good and the hard, the strong and the soft. She opens up about navigating her own painful medical journey with a rare disease that had no cure, while simultaneously riding the emotional rollercoaster that came with her son's diagnosis right after getting her own.

In this short, Miranda shares the exhausting season of putting on a brave, smiling face for the world while quietly enduring her hardest moments in private. Moving past the pressure to stay strong, she chooses to embrace vulnerability and realize that her true power and resilience came from reclaiming, honoring, and embracing all of her parts. With this realization came a fierce defiance: the conscious decision that her story would be beautiful, regardless of the detours. She opens up about the profound, sometimes uncomfortable shifts in her marriage and her work that were absolutely necessary to support this new chapter, proving that choosing yourself requires shifting your mindset, setting boundaries, and rewriting the rules of your life and relationships.

Grab the tissues, open your heart, and allow yourself to feel and process whatever parts of this story land for you and resonate.

  • A Mom & Her Son: Perspectives of an 11-year-old soul
    Oct 28 2026

    An Interview with "The Boy"

The bond between a mother and her son goes deep. For Miranda, it is emotional, easy, deep conversations, yet completely natural. She often speaks about how they are wired similarly in so many ways, and how the unique journey of life they have shared has only brought them closer together. While that kind of connection can be hard to put into words, you can feel it completely in this conversation.

In this special episode, Miranda sits down with her 11-year-old son—a true mini version of her, from the way his brain works to his deep, soulful perspective on the world. Together, they dive into a blind Q&A, asking each other completely unscripted questions that range from broad worldviews to intimate discussions on relationships and communication.

    Episode Highlights

Insights from a Kid: A fresh perspective on what would truly make the world a better place, which daily rules he would adjust if he were in charge, and what actually makes someone a great teacher.

Navigating Friendships: A definition of what it means to be a good friend, how to show up for others, and an honest look at the hardest parts of being a kid today.

Playing Your Cards: A touching discussion on growing up with a parent or loved one who has a disability. He shares how this dynamic shifts your childhood, shapes you as a person, and teaches you how to support others.

A Kid's View on Parenting: An open conversation about love, what support looks like from a child's point of view, and what kids truly need from their parents—including what he thinks his own parents excel at and where they could improve.

The Value of a Child: Passionate about kids being seen as more than just small humans who go to school, he explains why age is just a number. Discover how children can contribute to the world in ways adults often write off, and how they carry wisdom far beyond their years.

Relationships & Roles: Reflections on the roles of men and women, what each brings to a relationship, and his perspective on what works well in his own parents' dynamic.

Holistic Everything: A candid reflection on the easy, hard, and sometimes annoying parts of shifting their life to a more spiritual, holistic path. From herbs and nutritional changes to dry bathing and energy work, they dive into their honest opinions and personal experiences of living "off the beaten path."

  • Why Relationships Mirror Your Internal Shit: How to Learn, Grow & Heal from Them
    Oct 21 2026

Relationships function as powerful mirrors. While mainstream conversations often fixate on labeling dynamics as healthy, negative, or toxic, this episode shifts the focus to what our connections are actively reflecting back to us. Miranda explores how both our deepest bonds and our simple, day-to-day interactions can be used as tools to guide profound inner work, ultimately transforming the overall quality and impact of how we show up in the world.

    Key Discussion Topics

    • The Inner Mirror: True connection begins from a place within. Relationships offer an immense opportunity to invite self-reflection, mirroring your internal struggles, highlighting unhealed wounds, and bringing your triggers and inner-child patterns directly to the surface so they can be tended to.
    • The Reality of Connection: It is time to drop the unrealistic expectation that relationships are always supposed to be easy, comfortable, and feel-good. The reality is that even the most challenging and friction-filled dynamics serve a vital purpose in our personal growth, evolutionary healing, and self-discovery.
    • The Blueprint of Inner Work: Lasting change always originates from within. A powerful place to begin this journey is by actively learning about your personal emotional wiring, identifying your foundational needs, and unpacking the underlying expectations you subconsciously carry into your connections.
    • Personal Accountability & Responsibility: Because human relationships have so many moving parts, it is easy to get lost in external blame. Ultimately, what remains firmly within our control is understanding what we are personally responsible for in managing our own well-being, ensuring our connections aren't just echo chambers for our unresolved issues.
    • The Power of Held Space: Miranda opens up about her personal journey of leaning into discomfort by placing herself in dedicated healing spaces alongside others. Immersing herself in these vulnerable, non-judgmental environments allowed her to meet her own humanness with deep support—a transformative experience that has become a core pillar of her mission to support others.
    • Navigating Relational Shifts: A deep dive into the real, unpredictable ways that relationships shift, evolve, and sometimes end. By exploring the contrasting perspectives on different sides of a dynamic, this segment highlights how dedicated inner work allows for greater acceptance, forgiveness, and emotional peace when the landscape of a relationship changes.
    • The Nuance of Touch and Eye Contact: Intrigued—and at times irritated—by rigid societal expectations, Miranda shares her personal observations on eye contact, hugs, and physical touch. She explores her research into when these behaviors became culturally normalized, what they truly represent on a deeper soul level, and the messy reality of how they actually show up in everyday life.
    • Confronting the Inner Critic: Miranda discusses the parts of herself she must continually meet, acknowledge, and accept while navigating her own relationships post-healing. This ongoing work involves unlearning old behaviors, defense mechanisms, and societally enforced ways of acting. By shifting her perspective, she no longer feels the need to honor or validate protective masks and rigid social norms, choosing instead to show up in her connections with true authenticity.
