• Dr. Wayne Dyer says "There Is A Ghost In The Machine!"
    Oct 20 2026

Welcome back to Self-Help Book Junkie, where we are continuing our series on Wishes Fulfilled: Mastering the Art of Manifesting by Dr. Wayne Dyer.

In this video, we are talking about one of the biggest questions in spiritual growth and manifestation:

    What is the soul?

Dr. Wayne Dyer writes about the “ghost in the machine,” this invisible part of us that cannot be seen, touched, measured, or located in the same way we can point to the body, the brain, the senses, or the nervous system.

And this took me right back to my very first book review series on The Untethered Soul, because that book completely changed the way I thought about who we really are.

We are not just the body.

We are not just the five senses.

We are not just the brain processing information.

We are not even every thought, feeling, impulse, or reaction that moves through us.

    There is something deeper.

    There is the witness.

The part of you that can observe the thought.
The part of you that can notice the feeling.
The part of you that can see the temptation.
The part of you that can hear the higher guidance.
The part of you that can choose.

That is where this conversation gets powerful.

In this video, we talk about:

    • What Wayne Dyer means by the “ghost in the machine”

    • Why the body and senses are not the whole of who you are

    • How your brain processes information, but is still not the soul

    • Why thoughts and feelings are experiences, not your full identity

    • How the witness within you observes your inner world

    • The difference between ego, higher guidance, and the soul

    • Why choice points matter in manifestation

    • How the “little devil” and “little angel” show up in daily life

    • Why the soul is the part of you that gets to decide

    • How spiritual alignment is built through repeated choices

    • Why sometimes the aligned action is to move

    • Why sometimes the aligned action is to rest

    • How guilt can disguise itself as productivity

    • Why discernment is such an important part of manifestation

This conversation is not about judging yourself for having thoughts, impulses, desires, fears, or doubts.

It is about recognizing that you are not powerless to them.

You are the one who can witness them.

You are the one who can decide which voice you are going to follow.

Sometimes the ego tells you to avoid the thing you know you need to do.

    Stay in bed.
    Skip the workout.
    Don’t record the video.
    Don’t show up.
    Call the ex.
Eat the thing you know does not serve you.

But sometimes ego also uses guilt, pressure, and fear to make you do things from the wrong energy.

    You should be working.
    You should be producing.
    You should be doing more.
You are bad if you rest.

    That is why discernment matters.

    The soul is the witness.

The soul is the part of you that can pause, observe, and ask:

    What is actually aligned here?

What is God guiding me toward?

What choice brings me closer to who I am here to become?

This is where manifestation becomes deeper than just visualizing or wanting.

It becomes a practice of alignment.

    A practice of listening.

A practice of choosing, again and again, to move toward the highest, most loving, most truthful version of yourself.

  • IDENTITY CRISIS! W/ Coach Brooke Dawson
    Oct 15 2026

What if changing your life is not about changing your location, your job, your relationship, or the people around you?

What if the real shift begins with the words you use after “I am”?

In this episode of Mindset Matters More, I sit down with Brooke Dawson, identity and mindset coach, host of The Process with Brooke Dawson, and a powerful voice on language, identity, self-concept, and micro actions.

This conversation is all about identity shifts, the language we use to define ourselves, and why moving across the world does not automatically make you a new person if you are still carrying the same internal story.

Brooke shares her own experience of growing up as “the smart girl” and how that identity followed her all the way from Canada to Australia. Even though she thought a new environment would allow her to reinvent herself, she found herself recreating the same role because her identity had not actually changed.

And that is the heart of this conversation.

    You can change the scenery.

You can change the friend group.

    You can change the city.

    You can change the job.

But if you do not change the identity you are operating from, you may keep recreating the same pattern in a new place.

In this episode, we talk about:

    • What identity really means

    • Why your identity is shaped by the words that come after “I am”

    • How self-deprecating language becomes part of your subconscious programming

    • Why “I’m just joking” does not always protect you from the impact of your words

    • How to use the word “yet” to create possibility

    • Why micro actions create powerful identity shifts

    • How to stop defining yourself through limitation

    • Why awareness has to come before change

    • How to audit your self-talk

    • Why massive identity shifts can sometimes feel unsafe to the nervous system

    • How small actions create evidence for a new version of you

    • Why comparison can be reframed into possibility

    • How “third-degree mentors” through books, podcasts, and online content can expand what you believe is possible

    • Why language, action, and identity work together

    • How Brooke’s singing lesson completely changed the story she had about her voice

    • Why the smallest moment can create a massive internal shift

One of my favorite parts of this conversation is Brooke’s definition of identity:

Identity is any word that comes after “I am.”

    I am bad at this.
I am not a morning person.
    I am indecisive.
I am not good at cooking.
    I am not a runner.
I am an alto, so I cannot hit that note.

Those statements may seem small, funny, or harmless, but they become instructions.

And the beautiful part is that you can begin shifting those instructions.

    You can say:

I am not a morning person yet.
I am learning how to wake up earlier.
I am becoming someone who follows through.
    I am willing to try.
I am giving myself permission to be bad at something while I learn.

This is where identity work becomes practical.

Not by forcing a massive overnight transformation.

But through tiny actions, new language, and building evidence that a new version of you is possible.

This conversation is for anyone who feels like there is more available to them, but also feels stuck in the story of “that’s just not me.”

Because maybe it is not that the thing is unavailable to you.

Maybe you have just been speaking from an old identity.

  • Abracadabra: Wishes Fulfilled by Dr. Wayne Dyer w/Andy
    Oct 13 2026

Absolutely. Here’s the YouTube description for your first Self-Help Book Junkie video on Wishes Fulfilled by Dr. Wayne Dyer.

Welcome back to Self-Help Book Junkie.

Today, we are starting a brand-new series on Wishes Fulfilled: Mastering the Art of Manifesting by Dr. Wayne Dyer.

And let me just say, after finishing Be Useful by Arnold Schwarzenegger, this book is taking us in a very different direction.

We are moving from the practical, grounded, action-based side of manifestation into the spiritual, energetic, and more esoteric side of manifestation.

But here is what I want you to know:

This is still not about abracadabra manifestation.

This is not about sitting on the couch, thinking happy thoughts, and expecting a million dollars to magically appear at your front door.

    That is not manifestation.

    Manifestation requires thought.
    It requires belief.
    It requires openness.
    It requires divine inspiration.
    It requires action.
It requires you to become available for something greater.

In this video, we talk about:

    • Why Wishes Fulfilled is such a powerful book on manifestation

    • Why manifestation is not magic in the way most people misunderstand it

    • How Wayne Dyer brings us into the spiritual side of manifesting

    • Why partnering with God, the I AM presence, or a power greater than yourself matters

    • Why you are not the source of creation, but you can become a conduit for it

    • How divine inspiration comes through when you are open to possibility

    • Why manifestation is not about forcing one specific outcome

    • How limiting the “how” can block the manifestation

    • Why there are infinite ways your desire can come into your life

    • Why being open is more powerful than trying to control every detail

    • How Be → Do → Have connects to spiritual manifestation

    • Why you still have to take inspired action

One of the biggest lessons in this video is that you cannot pigeonhole God.

You cannot decide there is only one way your desire can arrive and then call that manifestation.

If you say, “The million dollars has to show up this exact way,” you have already eliminated almost every other possibility.

But when you open yourself to divine inspiration and say, “I am available to receive this in whatever way God wants to bring it through me,” everything changes.

    You may receive an idea.
    You may meet a person.
    You may get an opportunity.
You may feel called to take a trip.
You may hear a sentence that changes your life.
You may be led toward the exact action that opens the door.

    That is manifestation.

    Not sitting still.

    Not controlling every outcome.

    Not pretending you are God.

But becoming the conduit, the channel, the vessel, the straw, the tube through which divine energy can move from the unseen into the seen.

This series is going to stretch your mind, your faith, your imagination, and your understanding of what manifestation really is.

So come with an open heart.

    Come with discernment.

    Come with curiosity.

And most importantly, come ready to engage with the book.

  • The Positive Lens Is Not Toxic Positivity
    Oct 6 2026

Welcome back to Self-Help Book Junkie, where we are finishing our review of Be Useful: Seven Tools for Life by Arnold Schwarzenegger.

In this final video, we are talking about one of the most powerful mindset shifts you can make:

the lens you choose to see life through.

Because every day, we give our time, energy, attention, and emotional capacity to things we cannot control.

    We complain.
    We worry.
    We replay traffic.
    We doom scroll.
We read things that make us angry.
We carry one negative moment into the rest of the day.

    And the question is:

How much of your life are you giving away to negativity?

This matters deeply when it comes to manifestation.

Because the lens you choose affects what you notice, what you expect, how you respond, what you create, and what you allow yourself to receive.

In this video, we talk about:

    • Why negativity steals time from your dreams
    • How complaining, worrying, and doom scrolling drain your energy
    • What it means to see life through a positive or negative lens
    • Why your perspective shapes your manifestation
    • How two people can look at the same situation and experience it completely differently
    • Why seeing the good is not the same as pretending nothing hurts
    • How to zoom out when you cannot understand why something happened
    • Why challenges can still carry lessons, protection, redirection, or growth
    • How forgiveness, reframing, and perspective can transform your energy
    • Why living in optimism feels different in your body than living in fear
    • How your emotional state impacts what you create next
    • Why shifting your mindset can shift your destiny

This is not about denying pain.

It is not about pretending bad things never happen.

It is not about toxic positivity.

It is about understanding that the meaning you attach to an experience determines how long that experience gets to live inside of you.

    One lens says:

“This is bad. I hate this. This should not have happened. I never want to go through this again.”

    Another lens says:

“This hurts. This is hard. I do not understand it yet. But somehow, I believe something good can still come from this.”

    Both acknowledge reality.

But only one gives you your power back.

When you choose the positive lens, you are not saying everything feels good.

    You are saying:

I refuse to let this moment steal more of my life than it already has.

    That shift changes your energy.

    It changes your vibration.

It changes what you can see.

It changes what you can receive.

    And in manifestation, that matters.

Because the more time you spend feeding negativity, the more you train your mind, body, and spirit to expect more of it.

But when you practice looking for the lesson, the blessing, the redirection, the growth, or the higher meaning, you begin living from a completely different state.

You begin shortening the distance between who you are now and what you are trying to create.

This final video is about choosing your lens.

Not because life is always easy.

But because your energy is sacred.

    Your time is sacred.

    Your dream is sacred.

And you do not have to hand it over to every negative thought, headline, inconvenience, fear, or frustration that crosses your path.

  • Master the Boring Stuff
    Sep 22 2026

Welcome back to Self-Help Book Junkie, where we are continuing our review of Be Useful: Seven Tools for Life by Arnold Schwarzenegger.

In this video, we are talking about one of the most important parts of success, manifestation, mastery, and becoming excellent at anything:

    the fundamentals.

Because the people we admire do not become great by skipping the basics.

They become great because they practice the basics over and over and over again, usually when no one is watching.

The athlete making the game-winning shot has practiced that shot thousands of times.

The musician who looks effortless on stage has played the boring scales, drills, and repetitions for years.

The speaker who commands the room has practiced speaking before the big room ever showed up.

The successful entrepreneur has practiced the sales calls, the messaging, the delivery, the mindset, and the follow-through long before the dream opportunity arrives.

That is the part most people want to skip.

    We want the breakthrough.

    We want the platform.

    We want the manifestation.

    We want the applause.

We want the moment where everything finally works.

But the moment only works because of the reps.

In this video, we talk about:

    • Why fundamentals matter more than fancy strategies
    • Why success is built through repetition
    • How elite performers practice hundreds or thousands of times for the few moments that count
    • Why manifestation requires practice, not just desire
    • How to rehearse the version of yourself you are becoming
    • Why the boring work is often the most important work
    • How practice builds confidence, clarity, and capacity
    • Why mastery makes you dangerous in the best possible way
    • How to practice conversations, sales calls, presentations, parenting, business, and leadership before the moment arrives
    • Why quality of practice matters as much as time spent
    • How repetition turns into flow state
    • Why complicated tools will not save you if you have not mastered the basics
    • How Be → Do → Have connects to daily practice

This is also a huge manifestation lesson.

Because conscious manifestation is not just about visualizing the thing once and hoping life figures out the rest.

You have to become the person who is ready when the opportunity arrives.

    That means you practice now.

You practice the conversation before the relationship.

You practice the sales call before the client.

You practice the presentation before the audience.

You practice showing up before the platform.

You practice your nervous system before the pressure.

You practice being the version of you who can hold the manifestation before the manifestation appears.

That is why I always say:

    Manifestation is easy.

Becoming a conscious manifestor is the work.

The fundamentals may not look glamorous.

    They may not feel exciting.

They may not make for the flashiest story.

But they build the foundation that allows everything else to stand.

So before you go looking for the most complicated strategy, ask yourself:

    Have I mastered the basics?

    Have I done the reps?

Have I practiced the one thing enough times that it becomes part of me?

Because mastery is not built by doing ten thousand different things one time.

Mastery is built by doing the right things consistently until they become who you are.

  • There Is No Substitute for Doing the Work
    Sep 15 2026

Welcome back to Self-Help Book Junkie, where we are continuing our review of Be Useful: Seven Tools for Life by Arnold Schwarzenegger.

In this video, we are talking about one of the biggest themes in the book:

There is no substitute for doing the work.

Arnold makes the point that he may not have been the strongest, smartest, richest, fastest, most connected, or most naturally talented person in the room.

But what he did have was the will to work.

    And that changes everything.

    Because talent is wonderful.

    Natural ability is wonderful.

    Opportunity is wonderful.

But none of it matters if you are not willing to put in the time, energy, focus, discipline, and repetition required to actually become excellent.

This is also one of the biggest misunderstandings about manifestation.

Manifestation does not mean you sit still and wait for life to hand you the dream.

It means you align your mindset, identity, vision, energy, and action so that when the opportunity shows up, you are ready to meet it.

You still have to do the work.

You still have to show up.

    You still have to train.

    You still have to study.

    You still have to practice.

You still have to put in the hours.

You still have to become the person who can hold the result you are asking for.

That is Be → Do → Have.

    You become the person.
You do what that person would do.
Then you can have what that person can hold.

In this video, I talk about:

    • Why work is the foundation of success
    • Why natural talent is not enough
    • How people with less talent can still become wildly successful
    • Why the will to work is one of your greatest advantages
    • How manifestation and work go together
    • Why aligned action matters
    • How work can become flow state
    • Why passion requires devotion
    • How to look honestly at where your time is going
    • Why one hour a day can change your life over time
    • How to stop saying you do not have time and start asking what you are giving your time to
    • Why nobody can take away your willingness to show up

The truth is, there will always be someone more talented.

    Someone smarter.

    Someone more connected.

    Someone better looking.

    Someone further ahead.

But they do not get to decide how much work you put in.

    That part belongs to you.

And when you are willing to pour yourself into your dream, your craft, your purpose, your content, your body, your business, your children, your art, your calling, or whatever it is that matters to you, something shifts.

The work becomes more than effort.

    It becomes devotion.

    It becomes flow.

It becomes the place where you meet the next version of yourself.

    So ask yourself:

What am I willing to do for my dream?

Where am I spending my time?

Am I actually working toward the thing I say I want?

Or am I waiting for life to make it easier first?

  • Ashley Day on Akashic Records and Healing
    Sep 11 2026

What are the Akashic Records, and how can they help you trust your own inner knowing?

In this episode of Mindset Matters More, I sit down with Ashley Day, embodiment coach, yoga instructor, community builder, and founder of Ashlightenment, for a beautiful conversation about intuition, healing, spiritual breadcrumbs, the Akashic Records, and what it means to come home to yourself.

Ashley shares how her journey into the Akashic Records did not happen overnight.

It started through life transitions, big moves, divorce, healing, curiosity, spiritual exploration, and the little breadcrumbs that kept leading her deeper into intuition, energy work, yoga, astrology, and eventually Akashic Records readings.

In this conversation, we talk about:

    • What the Akashic Records are
    • How Ashley began working with the Akashic Records
    • Why these readings are not predictive or fortune-telling
    • How the Akashic Records can help you gain clarity, perspective, and self-awareness
    • Why people often seek readings during major life thresholds
    • How intuition can show up through visions, sounds, feelings, and inner knowing
    • What the “claires” are and how Ashley experiences them
    • The difference between an Akashic Records reading and a psychic reading
    • Why free will matters in spiritual work
    • How readings can validate what your soul already knows
    • Why skepticism is normal
    • Why integrity matters when doing intuitive work
    • How Ashley’s own readings supported her through divorce, moving, and rebuilding
    • Why spiritual breadcrumbs often make more sense in hindsight
    • How learning to trust your intuition can open unexpected doors
    • What channeling feels like
    • How yoga, coaching, podcasting, and spiritual work can all become a form of flow state
    • Why coming home to yourself is one of the most powerful parts of healing

One of my favorite parts of this conversation is Ashley’s reminder that the Akashic Records are not here to scare you or tell you exactly what to do.

    They are here to illuminate.

    They help you zoom out.

    They help you see patterns.

They help you reconnect with your intuition.

They help you remember that maybe the answer was already inside of you, but your nervous system, fear, doubt, or overthinking made it hard to hear.

And sometimes the breadcrumbs that seem random in the moment are actually leading you back to yourself.
