Welcome to another episode of Midnight MonPod!

On tonight’s episode I go through one of the “MonPoc Fundamentals” articles available on Line of Sight. This time it is “The Four Unit Archetypes” by Jeff Gum. It is one of the most helpful articles I’ve read in regards to new players, and I’m trying to do my part to get it in front of as many people as possible.

Tonight’s Midnight MonPod is something a little different from most of the recent episodes.
Instead of going over any models in their specifics, I recorded a musing on the way Buildings are actually used in the course of the game. I have attempted to describe the different ways buildings are played and used, and how that interacts with the game itself at large.

I used Obliteration Boulevard as the map I looked at while recording the episode, and have thrown a copy of the map up under the episode notes on the Line of Sight posting of this episode.

Tonight on Midnight MonPod we have the last of the 2022 Dynamic Update Monsters that had been previously covered. This time we re-examine Nova ESR and discuss her new strengths in the new metagame.
Nova is my personal favorite monster in the game, and the Dynamic Update changes just helped her become more of what she already was.
