    (Citizen Kane of Horror )
    Halloween Horror Month 2026

    Directed by Robin Hardy

Matt does his best Non Irish accent as he attempts to give the synopsis as a constable from the Highlands of Scotland. Rick gives us an interesting alternate title to the film without giving away too much of the films story and plot.
As we delve into the story and plot Tim points out some of the characters motivational flaws and the guys tend to agree in what the hell are we watching. Why is this guy always showing his hand? Why is he taking a nap in the middle of the day?

    Directed by Francis Ford Coppola
On this episode of Middle Age Movie Reviews the guys are joined by two other members of another podcast family as Andres and Jeff S. show up to discuss this tale of business and families. The guys talk about the 1972 film The Godfather.

This time Matt turns the tables on the puppet master and requests Tim to give the synopsis as though he were Vito Corleone. Tim gives a surprisingly accurate portrayal of Marlon Brando's Vito.
Rick and Matt both tell of their history of watching this film for the first time. Rick again talks about his cousin from Sicily and how much he influenced watching this movie. Rick also gives us his insights to Michael Corleone's character and his rise in the family.

Jeff and Andres also give their thoughts to Sonny and the families history and the business of the Corleone family. Andres gives a little bit of the time he first saw this Francis Ford Coppola classic.
