College football is back in Michigan — and both programs are heading into 2026 with brand new head coaches. Michigan welcomes Kyle Whittingham in his first season leading the Wolverines, bringing his power spread offense to Ann Arbor with a loaded schedule that includes Oklahoma, Penn State, and Oregon. Michigan State is under new head coach Pat Fitzgerald in his first season in East Lansing, taking over after Jonathan Smith was fired following two seasons. Tyler and Kyle break down both rosters, evaluate the coaching changes, go game by game through each schedule, and make their win/loss predictions for both programs heading into the 2026 season.

The Grit-Iron Report is Detroit's loudest, most passionate sports podcast — Lions first, all Detroit, no apologies. Hosts Tyler and Kyle bring the heat every week with scorching hot takes, heated debates, snake drafts, Mount Rushmores, and real listener voicemails from the most loyal fan base in sports.
