  • E83: Friendships and Tugboats
    Oct 6 2026

Friendships change—and sometimes, so do the people we need beside us.

In this episode, we get honest about navigating friendships through completely different seasons of life. Megs shares what it was like being the fun, child-free friend throughout her 20s and 30s—and how some friendships shifted when she became a mom in her 40s. Caley admits that she has also been the shitty friend who didn’t understand just how drastically motherhood could change someone’s life…until she became a mom herself.

We talk about the friends who expect us to remain the same, the ones who struggle when our priorities change, and the hard truth that our children and families will always come first. But we also recognize that friendships can fade, stretch, circle back and even become stronger later.

Because friendships have phases. Life changes us. And sometimes the people who understand our current season are the exact people who help tug us safely through it.

  • E82: Raising a Child with Cystic Fibrosis Diagnosis - A Mother’s Strength Part 2
    Sep 22 2026

Getting the diagnosis was one battle. Then came learning how to actually LIVE with it.

Beth is back with us to talk about what raising a child with cystic fibrosis really looks like behind the scenes: the daily medications, treatments, shake vest, school, sports, travel, germs, appointments, and the constant awareness that something most families never have to think twice about could make her daughter seriously sick.

We also talk about one of the strangest realities of CF: people with cystic fibrosis have to be incredibly careful around other people with cystic fibrosis because of the risk of passing dangerous infections to one another.

And while all of that is happening, Beth is also working a full-time job, raising another child who deserves his own time and attention, supporting her kids in sports, managing a household, and somehow continuing to be one of the funniest humans we know.

This episode is a glimpse into a version of motherhood most people never see — not because these moms want recognition, but because so much of what they do simply happens quietly, every single day.

Beth is a powerhouse. And after hearing what goes into keeping her family moving, we think you’ll agree. 💜

  • E81: When Life Is Really Freaking Hard
    Sep 1 2026

Two weeks after losing my mom, this was the first time I felt ready to sit back down behind the microphone. We thought we were recording a podcast, but somewhere along the way it became therapy.

In this deeply personal episode, we talk honestly about grief - the beauty of celebrating a life well lived, the heartbreak of saying goodbye, and the strange reality of trying to return to everyday life when your world has completely changed. I share what those first two weeks have really looked like after my mom's passing, from the incredible celebration of her life to the overwhelming weight of missing her every single day.

At the same time, Meg opens up about being in her own difficult season as she steps into the role of caring for her dad while also helping care for her recovering mother-in-law. Between the two of us, life feels heavy - and we don't pretend otherwise.

This isn't an episode filled with answers. It's an episode filled with truth. If you're walking through grief, caregiving, or one of those seasons where life just feels impossibly hard, we hope you'll find comfort in knowing you're not alone.

💛 Sometimes the strongest thing you can do is simply keep showing up.
