A proposito di questo titolo

In Episode 3, maths teachers and champions Bobby Seagull and Susan Okereke discuss GCSE resits in post-16 education.

They’re joined by Jonny Diamond, Head of English and Maths at Luminate Education Group, one of the largest further education groups in the country, to explore the scale of post-16 GCSE resits, Functional Skills maths and how primary and secondary teachers can instil maths confidence in pupils.

Plus, there’s the usual maths problem taken from a Pearson past exam paper to solve, along with Bobby’s Maths Fact!

Series 4 of Maths Appeal is brought to you in partnership with Pearson.

The monthly episodes are targeted at fellow maths teachers, heads of department, school leaders and maths influencers, with the aim of building a community of maths educators.

Maths Appeal is produced by Jenny Nelson at Adore Audio.

This episode is dedicated in fond memory of Jonny’s former colleague, Clive Eardley (1962–2026), from the Leeds City College’s Quarry Hill Campus, in recognition of his more than two decades of dedicated service to Further Education and exceptional maths teaching.
