Money can feel like a scoreboard, a safety net, or a source of constant stress. We get honest about that pressure and then put it under the light of Scripture: Jesus says we can’t serve God and money, and that where our treasure goes, our heart follows. That’s why this conversation isn’t just about dollars and cents, it’s about discipleship, freedom, and learning how to live with “mastery over money” instead of letting money master us.

You’ll hear a powerful testimony from Joel about learning to tithe while living paycheck to paycheck, moving from net to gross giving, and watching God provide in unexpected ways. Pastor Celeste then brings the practical side, breaking down why a budget matters, how it helps you live within your means, and why planning reduces stress and builds long-term stability. We also talk through debt, the wisdom of counting the cost before big purchases, and why margin matters if we want to say yes when God prompts generosity.

Along the way we ground everything in key passages like Matthew 6, Malachi 3, Luke 14, Matthew 25, and Luke 12, and we point to helpful resources like Financial Peace University for anyone trying to get traction with debt payoff and biblical financial stewardship. We close with an invitation to put your trust in Jesus and take a real next step toward a healthier life.
