What happens when you grow up online, find yourself through social media, and then realize you might not actually be smarter than a fifth grader? Welcome to Episode 3 of Mariana's Mouthful. 🎙️🤍

This week, we're getting personal about my social media journey: how I got started, how content creation became a space for self-expression, and how I've navigated the mental and emotional side of putting my life on the internet. But because this is Mariana's Mouthful, we obviously can't stay serious for too long.

To wrap things up, I decided to test my intelligence with a little game of Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? And let's just say… after all these years of education, I have some explaining to do. 😭📚

A little self-discovery, a little vulnerability, and a whole lot of questioning my elementary school education.

Grab your coffee, get comfortable, and let's talk. 🤍

Mariana's Mouthful is for the stories, thoughts, and conversations that simply cannot fit into a one-minute clip. From law school and relationships to family lore, growing up, and the completely unnecessary thoughts that somehow become very necessary conversations, nothing is too serious—or too unserious—to make its way to the mic.

I thought by 25 I’d have a little more figured out.

Instead, the more I learn about myself, my career, relationships, and adulthood, the more I realize how much I’m still becoming.

This week, I’m talking about one of the longest and fullest weeks I’ve had in a while—balancing law school, life as a young professional, creating content, Pilates, and trying to figure out what I actually want my life to look like beyond all of it. I also get into friendship, the law school group chat that changed my life, and what it means to have people around you who genuinely make growing up feel a little less overwhelming.

So, this is 25: more confident in some ways, completely unsure in others, surrounded by people I love, building a life I’m proud of, and realizing that maybe having it all “figured out” was never really the point.

Welcome back to Mariana’s Mouthful <3

In Part Two of Episode One, Michael and I discuss my completely reasonable belief that the next form of global warfare will involve catastrophic tech breaches, his unique ability to unintentionally gaslight me simply by communicating, and why I was absolutely correct to pursue law instead of literally any career in the medical field.

Essentially: technology-induced paranoia, relationship communication, medical incompetence, and several more pieces of lore that explain far too much about who I am.

Welcome back to Mariana’s Mouthful. The lore continues—and somehow, the concerns only get more specific.
