A proposito di questo titolo
As of February 10, 2025, the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has been subject to multiple legal challenges resulting in several injunctions:
- Access to Treasury Data: On February 8, 2025, Judge Paul A. Engelmayer issued a preliminary injunction barring DOGE members from accessing Treasury data and ordered the immediate deletion of any unauthorized copies.
- USAID Operations: On February 7, 2025, Judge Carl J. Nichols issued a temporary restraining order against DOGE's plans to place 2,200 USAID employees on administrative leave and to recall overseas USAID workers to the U.S.
- Treasury Data Access Restrictions: On February 6, 2025, Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly agreed to a proposal to temporarily limit DOGE to "read-only" access of Treasury data until a hearing scheduled for February 24, 2025.
Additionally, on January 20, 2025, multiple lawsuits were filed against DOGE alleging violations of the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA). These cases are ongoing, and it's unclear if any injunctions have been issued in relation to them
In summary, DOGE has been subject to at least three injunctions as of this date.
