After finishing high school at the age of 16, Madison spent the next 15 years in the industry as a master stylist and texture specialist. Madison talks about her feelings on hair stylists as de facto therapists, the systemic dismissal of textured hair care and education, the physical and energetic toll of styling, as well as the rewards of helping others feel beautiful.
