Hayden Bird is back this week to discuss MLS' new rumored playoff format, MLS Next Pro's schedule change, its overall future and the news that MLS will fully return to the US Open Cup in 2027.
What could be better than 20 playoff teams and double elimination? Is MLS Next Pro stuck as the Double A level for MLS? And what to make of the US Open Cup finally having all MLS US based teams involved again.
Hayden Bird from the Boston Globe and Boston.com is here to go over it all with us!
