Paying tithe is an act of surrender, a declaration of trust in the one who provides. it's acknowledging that everything we have is a gift, and we're returning a portion to the source.
in malachi 3:10, it's written, "bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house." paying tithe is obedience, worship, and a demonstration of faith. it's not just about giving 10%; it's about surrendering our finances, recognizing god's sovereignty over our lives.
as you give, remember, "give, and it will be given to you. a good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap." (luke 6:38)
