  • Helping Others Heal While Healing Yourself | Jennifer Seifert
    Oct 2 2026

How do you keep moving forward when life keeps asking you to carry more than you ever expected? And how can your own struggles become a source of connection, creativity, and healing for others?

Nearly two decades ago, Jennifer Seifert and Tiffany met as teachers in the same school district and formed a friendship that has endured through years of unexpected turns, painful challenges, and profound growth. Today, Jennifer is a licensed marriage and family therapist, using what she has learned through her own struggles to help others navigate trauma and difficult seasons in their lives.

In Episode 74, Jennifer opens up about the trauma of having her home left uninhabitable after the Altadena fires and the medical challenges that have affected her life for decades.

She also shares why she started Artist’s Way workshops, where creators and non-creators alike can use creative expression as an outlet to process emotions, work through difficult times, and reconnect with themselves.

It’s a conversation about trauma, creativity, service, resilience, and finding purpose through life’s hardest moments.

  • Guns, Mental Health & Finding Common Ground | Mike Sodini
    Sep 10 2026

What happens when someone from the firearm industry decides that reducing gun-related deaths requires talking with people on the other side—not fighting them?

In Episode 71 of Love, Growth & Narratives, Tiffany and Fredrick sit down with Mike Sodini, founder and CEO of Walk the Talk America (WTTA), a national nonprofit working at the intersection of mental health and responsible firearm ownership.

Mike shares how his career in the firearm industry eventually led him to create WTTA and its Guns & Mental Health podcast. The organization works to bridge a divide that often seems impossible to cross—bringing gun owners, mental health professionals, researchers, and others into conversations centered on preventing suicide and reducing negative outcomes involving firearms.

But this conversation goes beyond guns and mental health.

Mike explains why he refuses to view people in the gun-control community as enemies. Despite major disagreements over policy, he has found that people on opposing sides often begin with the same goal: fewer people dying and fewer families experiencing tragedy. WTTA's approach is built around creating the trust and shared language necessary for those conversations to happen.

We also discuss Kids to Kings, Mike's initiative bringing firearm training, mentorship, discipline, and positive role models to young people in Atlanta.

It’s a conversation about firearms—but even more, it’s about what becomes possible when we stop assuming bad intentions, find the goals we share, and actually talk to one another.

    Aug 25 2026

What does it really take to build a lasting career in Hollywood?

In Episode 69 of Love, Growth & Narratives, we sit down with our friend, actor Paul Mabon—who you may recognize as Alan from the Progressive commercials, along with appearances on The Upshaws, The Pitt, Insecure, and many other television and film projects.

But Paul’s story started long before Hollywood.

Growing up in Chicago with a father who was a theater actor, Paul was introduced early to the world of performance. • Always Becoming: The Johna Aquino Hernandez Story
    Aug 18 2026

What happens when life doesn’t follow a straight line?

In Episode 68 of Love, Growth & Narratives, Tiffany and Fredrick sit down with entrepreneur, influencer, mother and traveler Johnalyn Aquino for a wide-ranging conversation about the many chapters that have shaped her life.

Johnalyn opens up about her upbringing and parents, her career, becoming a mother, raising her daughter, navigating divorce, traveling the world and continuing to push herself toward the next version of who she wants to become.

We also talk about entrepreneurship and the very different businesses she’s helped build.
