As a "Casual Principal," she has supported multiple schools during unexpected extended absences of administrators, gaining firsthand insights into helping teachers and co-administrators navigate stressful transitions. A certified coach and board-level consultant, Kimberlee has presented across Ontario, sharing her favourite support strategies and best practices for fostering positive workspaces. Specializing in ESL and Drama, she embraces the improvisational "yes, and" approach to education. In 2022, she founded Recess Coaching and Consulting to help educators and administrators rediscover "Recess Joy" through personalized coaching.

As one who understands the awkwardness we often feel, Shirley creates resources and experiences that serve as a playbook of best practices to care for the broken hearted. Their daughter Chantel lives in Calgary and their son, Jordan, lives in Heaven.
