Just like pinging your misplaced phone with Find My iPhone, Google's Find My Device, or asking a smart speaker ("Hey Google/Siri/Alexa, call my phone") to make it ring, God actively pursues us when we're adrift. Luke 19:10 declares "For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost," and the shepherd in Luke 15:4 leaves the ninety nine to find one lost sheep.
Scriptures like Psalm 119:176 "I have strayed like a lost sheep. Seek your servant" and Jeremiah 29:13 "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart" remind us: cry out in prayer, seek Him earnestly, and trust He's already searching for you with relentless love.
Next time you track down your phone and feel that joy, let it point you to God's greater pursuit. You're never truly lost to Him.
