In 2021 my husband and I had to make the hardest decision of our life. I was almost 18 weeks pregnancy when our daughter was diagnosed with a fatal neural tube defect and was incompatible with life. Our world came crashing down that day we were told the news and that was the start of our pregnancy loss journey. I want to share our daughters story because even though we never got to hold her or love her outside the womb, she matters! I hope to help other mom's and dad's going through loss anyway I can. Terminating for medical reasons isn't talked about enough even though it happens more than you may think. This is where our story with pregnancy loss and infertility after loss begins. We love you babygirl! May 4th is national TFMR day so I hope to bring awareness to this type of pregnancy loss.
