In this episode, we talk with Mila Gatlin, a longtime local resident of Mobile, Alabama. She shares with us a little bit of her story of growing up in Midtown, living with her grandmother, learning to ride her bike in the parking lot of Ladd Peebles Stadium, and a few other steps along her journey.

She takes us into the doors of her little corner of a new retro vintage shop in the heart of downtown Mobile. She also talks about what it was like being a member of the ambassador program for the marketing arm of the city of Mobile… Visit Mobile!

Mila also shares about working as a gymnastics teacher for the city of Mobile and what it takes to help your kids get more involved in all the city has to offer.

In this episode, we talk with Greg Golden, a longtime friend, local author, sound engineer, longtime staff member for the world-famous Christian touring group TRUTH, and overall great guy, who has called Mobile, Alabama, his home for a very long time.

Greg talks about how his journey as an author began and how it has developed into an entire young-teen book series, in the same vein as the Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew. Greg has also written a devotional book called Foundations, which includes an origin story tied to a local young man who has seen more than his share of trials.

Greg also talks about his time with the group TRUTH and how he has held every position under the sun.

Not to mention his long-term role at Cottage Hill Baptist Church in Mobile, Alabama, which allowed him to wear several hats and take on all sorts of responsibilities.
