• Voting Republican - A Conservative Gay Man
    Oct 12 2026

"You voted red, so you must worship Trump." It’s an assumption thrown at anyone who steps outside the expected political box—especially a gay man. In this episode of Living Between Worlds, Aaron breaks down why casting a ballot isn’t joining a church, why a vote is a pragmatic decision rather than a devotion, and why supporting a direction for the country doesn't mean blindly idolizing a politician.

From rejecting the tribal "jersey" mentality to the reality of navigating spaces where voting red turns you into a position and being gay turns you into a question mark, this is a candid, grounded look at patriotism, personal responsibility, and why an individual is always more complicated than their vote.

    In this episode:

    • The assumption: the jump from "voted red" to "cult member"

    • A vote is a decision, not a devotion

    • Direction vs. person: why you don't have to defend every word to support a path

    • What's actually behind the vote: gratitude, dignity of work, and freedom of speech

    • Rejecting the checklist: why group identity shouldn't decide your values

    • The cost of the intersection: being a position in one room and a question mark in another

    • Why you are allowed to be more complicated than your ballot

  • I Am Not Queer
    Oct 5 2026

I am not queer. I am a man who is attracted to men.In this episode, I explain why I don't use that word, why it meant something very different when I was growing up, and why "gay" has always been enough for me. I get into the difference between a fact and an identity, being filed under an umbrella I never chose, and why language has become a loyalty test.I'm not telling anyone what to call themselves. I'm asking for the same courtesy back. What word do you use for yourself? Find me on Instagram, TikTok, and X at Living Between Worlds.

  • Is Monogamy Dead? This Gay Conservative Says No.
    Sep 28 2026

Can you be a gay man who values tradition, wants strict monogamy, and prefers a quiet, grounded life without having your identity questioned? In this episode of Living Between Worlds, I break down the cultural divide between the modern scene and traditional commitment: why wanting one devoted partner isn't outdated, why attraction to masculine men is basic human nature, and why choosing lasting stability over temporary chaos is simply growing up. I also address the common pushback head-on—why holding conservative values and prioritizing a stable home has nothing to do with political labels, and why nobody else gets to decide whether you're "gay enough."

  • Do Pride Flags Belong in Public Schools? A Gay Conservative View
    Sep 21 2026

The other day at work, my company’s Pride chat blew up over news that school boards were voting to remove Pride flags from classrooms. Within thirty seconds, coworkers were furious, claiming rights were under attack and saying, "We have to get Republicans out of office."

Sitting there in silence, I realized something: they just proved the entire point. The moment taking down a flag is treated like an attack on a political party, you've admitted it isn't a neutral symbol anymore—it's a partisan banner.

In this episode, I’m breaking down the difference between legal acceptance and demanding endorsement, why taxpayer-funded civic spaces belong to all Americans equally, and why real resilience doesn't come from demanding that public schools wave our flag.

Do Pride flags belong in public classrooms, or should schools focus strictly on academics?

    Sep 14 2026

Could you date someone whose politics were completely different from yours?

It’s easy to say politics shouldn’t matter in dating. But what happens when you actually meet someone you like—and realize the two of you may see the world very differently?

In Episode 6 of Living Between Worlds, I’m talking about dating, politics, assumptions—and the unexpected moment a “F*** Trump” shirt made me think about where disagreement ends and compatibility begins.

  • Why Should My Sexuality Decide My Politics?
    Sep 7 2026

Why should being gay tell anyone how I’m supposed to vote?

In this episode of Living Between Worlds, I talk openly about something that doesn’t fit the political expectations some people have of a gay man: I’m conservative, I voted for President Trump, and I support him today.

But this episode isn’t about convincing anyone to support Trump. It’s about the bigger question underneath it: Why do we assume someone’s sexuality should determine their politics in the first place?

I talk about the issues that shape my own political decisions, how traveling outside the United States changed the way I see America, what it means to disagree with expectations inside your own community, and why I don’t believe any political party is automatically entitled to someone’s vote because of who they are.

You don’t have to agree with me. In fact, sometimes I hope you won’t.

Because I don’t want you listening because you already know what I’m going to say.

I want you listening because you don’t.

  • Why Does Disagreement Have To Be So Personal When You're Gay and Conservative?
    Aug 31 2026

Why does disagreeing with someone so often turn into judging who they are?

Since starting this podcast, I’ve gotten a firsthand look at what happens when you put your opinions online. A recent interaction on TikTok got me thinking—not just about how other people handle disagreement, but about how I handle it too.

In this episode, I talk about why political disagreements have become so personal, how quickly we can make assumptions about someone based on a single opinion, and why being willing to question “the other side” isn't enough if we're never willing to question our own.

I don't think the answer is that we all need to agree. I think we need to get better at disagreeing without automatically turning each other into enemies.

  • The Conservative Closet: Coming Out Twice
    Aug 24 2026

Coming out as gay was one chapter — realizing I had to “come out” again for my politics was another. In this episode, I’m talking about the unexpected tension of being openly gay but quietly conservative, and how fast people rewrite your entire identity once they hear a single word.

It’s a straightforward look at the assumptions, the judgment, and the second closet nobody warns you about — and what it feels like to stand in the middle of two worlds that both think you don’t belong.
