Grab a drink, alcoholic or not, and get a notebook out for some notes. And know I must read about ghost tour guides hexed to fall in love...

Award season keeps on giving! Another bonus round for us here at Live, Laugh, Literary Fiction! The winner of the Debut Fiction Prize 2026: May We Feed the King by Rebecca Perry. Some differing opinions and the question of the oddest mundane job out there...

Buy some plastic fruit, open your history books, and tell us did you ever thing someone builds globes?

Reliving summer and the romance season of dreams, we dive into the world of "Tropesick" and the idea of tropes coming to life in a story.

That then does lead us to picking random prompts and trying to make a story out of them - which we would recommend at your next book club.

Grab a spinning wheel, maybe a cat too, and dream of your favourite tropes with us.

Thanks to Hodder for sending us this book, we had the time of our lives if you couldn't tell.

Another side quest for you all, just before the release of her new book we talk about those that have come before. It's Lucy Jane Wood everyone!

There may come a time (cough, cough) where the next book is highlighted on our channel - and oh wow! We simply cannot wait, but here is this to wet your wick for now.

Grab a sweet treat, a cosy blanket, a candle of choice, and let us tell you how much we love this world Lucy has created.

Another bonus round for us here at Live, Laugh, Literary Fiction! This was the winner of the Women's Fiction Prize 2026: The Correspondent by Virginia Evans. And damn guys, what a book.

We do also divert and chat about reading culture and the trending "book world" and what we think of this.

Grab a pen, some cute stationary, and remember to send us that letter once you've finished listening.

June's Book of the month is here, just a little bit late with our summer break.

It felt only right for us to read and comment on a book everyone else is reading and commenting on.

Grab a microphone, lock away your microwaves, and saddle up for another episode with your favourite podcast hosts x
