Let me be direct with you right from the start of this conversation. The world you are living in today is not the world you were trained for. The schools most of us attended, the careers most of us were pointed toward, and the skills most of us were told to develop were designed for an economy and a society that is now evolving at a pace that none of us fully anticipated.
Artificial intelligence is not coming. It is already here. It is in your phone, your search engine, your doctor's office, your bank, your supply chain, and your competition. And the response that many people are having to that reality is one of two things: fear or denial. Some people are afraid of what AI means for their jobs, their relevance, their future. Others are pretending it does not really affect them yet, hoping it passes like a fad or slows down before it disrupts their corner of the world.
