God’s presence leads us today just as surely as it led the Israelites in the wilderness — not by a visible cloud, but by His Spirit within us. When we follow the direction of the Holy Spirit and the guidance God gives through our pastors, we can walk confidently in His plan and provision.
Pastor Max reminds us that through Jesus Christ we’ve received an abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness to reign in this life (Romans 5:17). But reigning doesn’t mean we’ll never face trouble — as Psalm 34:19 says, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.”
We’ve been given spiritual weapons to resist every attack. Our battles are not physical but spiritual — fought in our thoughts, words, and attitudes. God’s Word is our sword, our weapon of victory. When you fall, you get back up again, because the righteous may fall seven times but rise every time (Proverbs 24:16).
No matter what you’re facing, pull out the sword of the Spirit and declare:
The Lord delivers me. God is for me. I have victory through Jesus Christ.
Every problem you face can be arrested by the Word of God!
