In this message from The Scarlet Thread series, Pastor Jay Tyler examines Abraham’s intercession for his nephew Lot as God prepares to bring judgment upon Sodom and Gomorrah.

Abraham’s example reminds us of the incredible privilege we have as believers to stand in the gap for our family and friends. While we cannot force anyone to repent or follow Christ, we can pray, intercede, and trust the Holy Spirit to work in hearts we cannot change.

Join us as we discover the power of intercessory prayer, the mercy of God, and the importance of leaving the world behind to walk by faith.

Who are you standing in the gap for today?

In Genesis 22, Abraham faces the greatest test of his faith when God commands him to offer Isaac as a sacrifice. Yet Abraham responds with unwavering obedience and confidence that God will provide. In this message, Pastor Jay Tyler explores how trials reveal the genuineness of our faith, strengthen our trust in God, and point us to Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God. Genuine faith trusts God not simply for what He provides, but because of who He is.

In Called Out, we see how Abram’s story points us toward Christ and demonstrates what genuine faith looks like. God still calls people out of sin, out of the world, and out of comfortable places to follow Him. Faith is more than simply believing, it's trusting God enough to surrender, obey, and follow wherever He leads.
