It was Christmas Eve in 1945, and the Sodder family of Fayetteville, West Virginia, was getting ready to turn in for the night after a festive day of celebration. But little did they know that this would be the night that would change their lives forever. At around 1 a.m., a fire broke out in their home, and despite their best efforts, the flames quickly engulfed the entire house.

The family managed to escape, but tragically, five of their children were never seen again. In the aftermath of the fire, strange events and mysterious sightings only added to the confusion and horror of what had happened that night. Despite extensive investigations and searches, the fate of the missing children remains a haunting and unsolved mystery to this day.
