In my own heart healing journey, I have recognized that my heart is extremely valuable and it is my responsibility alone to guard it with wisdom and not emotion. My heart is the “wellspring of my entire life.” If I don’t take the time to heal what has been broken, my heart will be corrupted and that will influence and spill out into every avenue of my life. I want to be known as a peace filled, loving and kind person. It is my desire to be a life giver to every person I meet, and I cannot do that if what is pouring out of me is poison that overflowed from the corruption I have harbored in my heart. I am daily trying to make myself conscious that this world is vile and corrupt, and my heart is constantly under attack by all I choose to think about and allow into my world. 

I hope my story has influenced you to go on your own heart healing journey. It is a trip only you can take for yourself. I pray you stay sober of mind and filled with the love and grace that comes from an intimate and life giving relationship with our Father through His loving son Jesus Christ.

2.      What are the things in your life right now that are noble, right, pure, lovely and admirable?

3.      What are the things in your life today that are excellent and worth my praise?

I hope you understand that no one deserves the gift of salvation more than you or I do. It is a free gift that has already been paid through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. All you have to do is declare out loud that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God did raise him from the dead and you will be saved. Your life may not change right away, but the relationship you develop with the Lord will heal your heart and that will help your life change. 

If you have already accepted Jesus as your Savior but you have lost your faith, it’s important that you turn from your wicked, flesh desires back to the only one who can grant you the love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control you are searching for. These things will not be found by seeking for them through flesh gratification. Your flesh is literally only skin deep. Why are you passing up the lasting, deep things of God for these temporary, shallow experiences that will only lead to death? Why are you choosing flesh desires that don't last over the blessings of the Spirit of God, which last a lifetime and then for eternity?

In Romans 5:12 Paul reminds us, “Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death came through sin, and so death spread to all because all have sinned.”

I hope you will walk the Romans Road of Salvation with me whether you are a long time Christian or someone who is looking for truth and love.

My recent perspective would have taken me down a dark path until I reached out my hand to Jesus and was pulled out of the harsh reality I had found myself living to a place of truth that I had many many blessings surrounding me. We see this example in several Biblical Characters including King David and the prophet Elijah.

Even in desperate depression, the Prophet Elijah followed God's leading and submitted himself to the calling God had upon him. God will not force you to go through more than you can stand and He will provide a way even when you can't see how it's possible.

I’ve had a lot of things transpire in my life over the years and chose to shelve the second book King of Harkan.

I am also currently working on a booklet with Whole Food recipes, scriptures, meditations, and fasting ideas to help you re-set your spiritual, mental, and physical self in 30 days. With all my health problems, it is next to impossible for me to do a full fast for more than one day. About 10 years ago, I started doing 30 day re-sets every March. This is a time where I eat only whole foods for 30 days and pray and fast from things like television. I’ve amassed a lot of great recipes over the years and can’t wait to share them with you. I hope to have this booklet ready for purchase by early 2024. Keep an ear out for new announcements as things move forward.

One of the greatest lessons we can learn from the story of Elijah in 1 Kings is to be alert to manipulation and don't allow yourself to be distracted by chasing after fleshly desires that lead only to death.
