Our discussions on Deuteronomy will cover not only the words of this great Book, but the interesting history behind it. This history includes how it got from the northern kingdom to the south, its rejection there for a while, but then the interesting “rediscovery” that it brought to a new audience who took it to Babylon. It is a Book that is applicable to us today because, in many ways, our society is ignoring God by our fixation with the dependence upon our electronic devices, television, and other modern attractions. We need to hear the Word of God again to help us get back on track leading to Him.
