An updated version of Chapter 1. Basically I've added some music, balanced the audio and made some edits based on feedback.

Music citations can be found at:

Specific updates are as follows:

Added background music from Freesound.org

Balanced audio so that everything is the same volume, or as close as I could manage. Also adjusted the EQ to hopefully make the narration more audible.

Clarified the descriptions for razka and dreken, basically they are Almaranian versions of foxes and horses respectively, both can climb trees, both have moss instead of fur, razka specifically can also glide and alter the color of their moss.

Made it clear that Haulrin's hat is a cowboy hat.

Re-recorded some of the voice lines for Larona's mother, based on listener feedback.

Larona and Haulrin's journey to Sanacore is interrupted by an old acquaintance.

Chapter 4 is (mostly) complete, but it's over three hours long. So I'll be releasing the Age of Rust and Age of Pollen sections separately. Expect the Age of Pollen section in the next few weeks.

I've used music and sound from Freesound.org. Attributions can be found in the link below.

Please note if I've used your work and there are any issues with the way I've used it or with the attribution please leave a comment and I'll follow whatever steps you ask.

A one year update on Larona's Journal. The original plan was to release one episode a month and obviously that hasn't happened. But I'm still working away at it :)

So much for monthly uploads. Life has been busy, what can I say? Anyway this chapter sees Larona and Haulrin forced to escape the airship and find safe landing. Then Larona has a dream recalling her time on the road to Zellis.

In this chapter Larona and Haulrin escape the tower, and she tells Haulrin about how she escaped the Elmessians.

An artistically gifted trans girl receives supernatural powers that spark a religious movement in her name. After getting stabbed in the back by her best friend she finds herself chained in a cell, interrogated by a devotee of the religion she inspired who is ignorant of her true identity.

Author J.D.M. Bennie-Galotta joins voice actor David Marcus to begin the journey into the world of Larona's Journal.
