Despite the rain, the day raised $3,210 for local charities through the raffle, silent auction and MBP Advisory’s dollar-matched cornhole challenge. Greenlea Rescue Helicopter took out the “good in the hood” vote, with Blue Light Ventures, Lake Taupō Hospice, Community Chai and Kids Greening Taupō also sharing in the funds. Plus a big thank you to the local businesses who donated prizes, and the date for next year: Thursday 4 November 2027.
