In Episode 38 of the Longshot Podcast, Tyler sits down with Gavin Jeske, a 20-year-old Marine Corps Reservist with a bold desire to make his entire life point people toward Jesus Christ.

Gavin shares his testimony, what it looks like to live out his faith in the military, and how God has called him to minister to the Marines around him. He also discusses his plans to transition into the Navy as a Religious Program Specialist and ultimately pursue his calling to become a Navy chaplain.

At the heart of the conversation is Gavin’s desire to be both a warrior for Christ and a gardener for Christ—having the courage to stand firmly on the truth of God’s Word while also patiently planting seeds, discipling others, and cultivating spiritual growth.

What does it mean to stand firm without treating people like the enemy? How do we boldly defend truth while still showing patience, compassion, and grace? And what does it look like for a young Christian man to surrender his future to wherever God calls him?

Gavin’s goal is simple: to be a walking billboard for Jesus.

This conversation is a challenge to live boldly, serve faithfully, and make sure the life we live ultimately points beyond ourselves and toward Christ.

In this episode, Longshot welcomes Christopher Santos, founder of Jesus Beans Coffee, to hear how a life-changing encounter with Jesus transformed his direction, his purpose, and his approach to business.

Christopher shares his testimony, the decision to walk away from his previous business, and the calling that led him to create a coffee company centered on Scripture and the gospel. He explains how every bag of Jesus Beans Coffee is designed to help people begin their day rooted in God’s Word, while also supporting ministries through a portion of the company’s profits.

This conversation is an encouraging reminder that business can be more than a way to make a living—it can become a platform for ministry, generosity, and pointing others toward Christ.

In Episode 36 of the Longshot Podcast, I had the opportunity to sit down with Brett Miller, co-founder of Miller’s Grove Soap, to hear the story behind his faith, testimony, and the mission that led him to create cleaner, more intentional body-care products.

Brett shares how his walk with Christ has shaped the way he approaches life, family, and business. The conversation also dives into growing concerns surrounding ingredients commonly found in cosmetics and personal-care products, including their potential effects on hormones, reproductive health, and fertility.

But this episode is about more than soap. It’s about stewardship—being intentional with the bodies, families, businesses, and opportunities God has entrusted to us.

Brett’s story is a reminder that faith isn’t meant to stay within the walls of the church. It should influence how we live, what we build, and how we serve others.

Welcome back to Longshot! Tune in as I have a hometown friend on the podcast. We discuss God's providence, His protection, and how God has been working in Dan's Life. God Bless!

In this episode of LONGSHOT, I sit down with Michael Breen to hear his powerful testimony and the ways God has shaped his journey. We discuss how seasons of difficulty can strengthen our faith in Jesus, the scriptures that have been speaking to him recently, and the urgent call for believers to boldly declare Christ as King in our nation. Along the way, we also reflect on current events, including the Charlie Kirk assassination, and what it means to stand firm for the gospel in uncertain times.

Listen along as Austin Metz and I covered Chapters 3 and 4 of 1 John. Today we discussed the topics of love and truth, and how God dictates their meaning. We also discussed the eternal security that is found by placing our faith in Christ.

Listen along as myself and Austin Metz dive into the first two chapters of 1 John. We discussed the confidence and security we have in Christ, current events and updates, and how men are called to lead their families as the spiritual leader. God Bless.

Listen along as we kickoff Part One of our 1 John Series. I had the pleasure of welcoming my friend and fellow co-worker, Austin Metz, onto the LONGSHOT podcast to discuss this epistle. In this episode we talked about Austin's testimony, as well as background information on this epistle, and why it is applicable today. It is our hope that over the course of this study you would come to know Christ better and that you would strengthen your walk with Him. God Bless.
